Neutral Zone Football PBeM is an American Football play-by-email game. Each coach uses purpose build Front Office software to run their team and compete for the championship.

The season consists of Pre-Season, Regular Season, Playoffs and All-Pro games. Draft, Training Camp, Free Agency and Trades will help you to mould your roster the way you want to create your ideal team. All that remains is for you to use your Scouts information on the opposition to create your Gameplan and Depth Chart for each game.

To play Neutral Zone you will need a copy of the Front Office Software. This software enables you to manage your team and create a turn file each week.

After each turn the updated databases are downloaded from the internet and saved to the program directory. This updates your version of the software with the latest Results, Statistics, News, Etc.

You will be instructed where to download the latest Front Office Software when the league kicks off. An evaluation version of this software is under construction and will be available for download very soon from the main site.

The Front Office Software is Shareware, and you will need to register the software to be able to compete in the league. Please see Price Information below for details of the cost.

Each Neutral Zone season lasts for 30 turns and turns are processed weekly. The schedule for each Neutral Zone Season is as follows :

The league consists of 30 teams. This is split into two conferences. Each conference has 3 divisions with 5 teams in each. Each team will play a 16 week schedule with one bye-week. Each division winner will progress into the playoffs at the end of the regular season along with the 3 best other teams from each conference who proceed as wildcard teams.

Those teams who do not make the playoffs can arrange to have friendly matchups played during the playoffs, but risk injury to their players if they choose to do so.

Team Names are accepted from all worldwide cities. Once a league is full with 30 teams the Teams will be sorted by geographical location and placed into divisions. If you have friends who are playing and wish to be placed in the same division as them then this can be done, but it helps if the teams are in a similar geographical location (i.e. North America).

The rules for naming your team are as follows :

• A Team name must consist of a City Name and Nickname.

• You must list 4 Cities and 4 Nicknames in preference order

• The City Name must be an existing City from anywhere in the world (S.America, N.America, Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, etc.)

• The Team name must not be an existing NFL, NFLEurope, CFL team name.

• The Team name must not be offensive.

• You may specify Main, Secondary and Third team colours

• A logo will be produced for you using your team nickname and colours.

• You may design your own logo based on a template which will be sent to you on request.

The following costs apply to the Neutral Zone Football PBeM :

• Registration of the Front Office Software £3.50
• Each Neutral Zone Football Turn £1.25/turn

The cost for a season is £37.50 (30 x £1.25). This cost can be paid in installments.
