Middle Earth PBM is a titanic stuggle between good and evil set in the world of JRR Tolkin's 'Lord of the Rings' and played out by the ten nations of free people, the Ten Dark sevants and five neutral races.

The action in middle earth is centred on heroes and other characters. You can take the part of elrond Half-Eleven, Bain I,the witch king Murazor, the Dragon Lord or Gorthmog.

The characters will carry out your orders to the best of their abilities, leading armies, kidnapping diplomats, solving riddles, sacking citadels, maipulating the market and much more. Companies can be formed to travel the land on quests, thus you can recreate the fellowship of the ring or even allow the Nine Nazgul to ride together!

The game lasts 30-40 turns and ends when one side has military and economic superiority, or when the ring is taken to mount Doom and either thrown into the Cracks of Doom or presented to the Dark Lord himself.
