FLAGSHIP is a magazine covering turn-based gaming.
It was founded as a quarterly in 1983, then switched to coming out every two months
and has appeared regularly ever since. Issue 100 is due to appear in
November 2002. The magazine is A4 sized, with around 48 pages and a
glossy cover.
There are reviews, game-diaries and strategy guides for postal,
pbem and web-based games every issue, together with news columns,
letters and - FLAGSHIP's most distinctive feature - uncensored
comments from players on the games they're playing. Every issue
also lists contact details and prices for all the turn-based games
we know about in Britain and Europe.
FLAGSHIP is an intelligent, upbeat magazine which reflects the
fun that players find in the games they play. It's run by players,
for players.
