Adventurer Kings is a Fantasy war game with 8-30 players per game.

It is a well established and popular game with a huge amount of depth and yet retains the simplicity that many other games fail on. Each game is played on a totally different map than any other game and therefore no two games will be alike. The main difference to this game is the full colour map that comes along with the vastly descriptive turn reports. Also included in the turn reports are all the details from battles, adventurer reports,player and character positions and a fully customisable orders sheet.

There are over 100 different characters within the game coming from 8 different races. Each character has 15 different ability's that will help you determine their strengths and weaknesses.

This game is playable as PBM or PBEM and turn deadlines are between 7 and 14 days apart.

A fantasy world filled with kings and heroes, intrigue and diplomacy, war and adventure. A fun and easy game to play, in which you can achieve victory in lots of different ways: military conquest, the slaying of monsters, the search for hidden treasures and magical items, exploration, and many many more.

You can travel across up to 162 provinces, encounter some of the 100 non-player characters (npc's) of 11 different races (such as Elves, Dwarves, Trolls and Ents), recruit 19 different types of military units (heavy cavalry, camel corps, dragon wings, etc.), discover over 60 magical items guarded by monsters within their dungeons; and this is only the BASIC version! The more advanced "Super-AK" version allows many more players, provinces and additional rules. The world is created and run via computer: a new world every game!

Each of your characters has personal skills (military, magical, and miscellaneous) in 15 possible abilities, which will evolve during the course of the game. Each game turn is played weekly or bi-monthly, in groups of 12 to 30 players, in international tournaments.
